Manda Newlin began her career as a writer and editor after earning bachelor's degrees in journalism and psychology from Indiana University–Bloomington. She specialized in corporate communications at several large insurance and financial services companies before branching out as a communications consultant.
In this role she supports organizations of all kinds and sizes with professional copywriting, copyediting, communication strategy, project management, digital marketing (including email and social media), brand integrity, product launches, event promotions, and web development and management. Clients have included The Indianapolis Star, OneAmerica, CNO Financial, FFA, Franciscan Health, Do it Best Corp., and others.
In 2022 she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Newport MFA program at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. She continues to work in marketing communications while completing her second novel and running 51 Summers, a small vintage home decor shop.
